Univera Lifesciences Review – The Truth at the Heart of Univera Lifesciences

Univera Lifesciences Review – The Truth at the Heart of Univera Lifesciences

The network marketing industry is plagued by a reputation of “scams” and “pyramid schemes”. A hand full of companies who tried to trick people out of their money have created a paradigm about network marketing that simply isn’t congruent with most of the industry today. Granted, there are still companies out there that you need to watch out for. Is Univera Lifesciences one of them? This article explores this question and more, revealing the truth at the heart of this company in this Univera Lifesciences Review.

Univera Lifesciences Review – Are They Hiding Behind Claims?

When you begin digging deeper behind the scenes of Univera Lifesciences, you may be surprised what you find. While some companies claim they have “High Level Science” and then hide behind a single medical practitioner, this company is actually part of a larger umbrella organization (called the “Econet”) who’s sister company, Unigen, is the largest natural products research engine on the planet. They own the largest functional medicinal plant library in the world at 14,000 plants and growing. Not only is there cutting edge science (Unigen employs over 50 full time scientists, half of whom have PHD’s), but the organization also controls their own manufacturing, and produces their own raw materials from a vast network of worldwide resources. The Econet is comprised of 4 companies all together, all debt free and privately owned by one man – Mr. Bill Lee, a billionaire Korean philanthropist. The deeper you go down the rabbit whole, the more rock solid the foundation of this Univera Lifesciences company.

Univera Lifesciences Review – Do The Products Really Work?

The products offered by Univera Lifesciences are cutting edge nutritional pharmaceuticals, or “nutraceuticals” that are designed to support the body’s ability to heal, regenerate, and operate at a high level of energy and vitality. But do they actually work? Once again, Univera Lifesciences stands up under scrutiny, not leaving any of their results to idle speculation. In independent, double-blind, placebo-controlled, human clinical trials, the efficacy of their products has been well documented. In fact, as many as 50% of people who try their flagship product “Xtra” notice one of the 4 clinical benefits within the first 3 days. It seems that the $20 Million plus dollars and 5 years of research spent prior to releasing a single product has paid off.

Univera Lifesciences Review – Scam Or Legitimate Business Opportunity?

When evaluating the Univera Lifesciences business opportunity, it might appear at first glance to be similar to other network marketing opportunities. A person has the opportunity to share the products and benefit from the retail and residual commissions when customers purchase the product, or when another associate joins them in the business. However, upon closer inspection there are a few unique differences. The compensation plan is a hybrid of a unilevel and a matrix style plan that maximizes the return on investment for the beginner (something that is unique in an industry that notoriously just rewards the top 2%). Secondly, the use of …

How Investment Banking Resumes Are Read

How Investment Banking Resumes Are Read

One constantly mysterious topic is how investment banks actually read your resume when you apply for jobs.

Who reads resumes? Do the Managing Directors ever get involved? How do they decide who to grant an interview to? How much time do they spend on your resume?

Even those who have done their homework very well often don’t understand how the resume review process works.

Who Reads Your Resume

Generally, Analysts from your university will read through the resumes of everyone from that university who applied. There are so many resumes to go through (sometimes 500-1000) that only junior people have time to do this.

We might receive hundreds of resumes for only 20-30 interview spots. Even if only seconds are spent on each one, this requires a huge time commitment… and then add on 10-20 schools and it might take hours or days.

So if you know an Analyst at a bank, make every effort to get him or her to push for you – that can make a big difference!

How Much Time Is Spent Reading Your Resume

30 seconds. Due to excessive resume flow and hundreds, that’s all the time we really have. So you have very little time to make a positive first impression and impress enough to invite you in for an interview.

What Bankers Look For In Resumes

You want to “bankify” your resume as much as possible by making what you did sound more business and finance-oriented.

Technically, finance experience isn’t required, but it does give you a huge advantage: when we review resumes, we separate them into the “banking experience” and “non-banking experience” categories. Most interviews will go to the first group.

For summer internship positions, a previous finance internship is less important and is not necessarily expected. Just make sure your resume shows why you want the job, your attention to detail, ability to make an impact, and quantifies everything you’ve done.

I’m constantly amazed at how bad many resumes are. Even the most basic things like spelling, grammar and level of detail are sometimes completely wrong. Armed with the knowledge in this article, you should be able to make your resume shine.

Above all else, remember those Golden 30 Seconds. This doesn’t mean a resume isn’t important – it just means you need to focus on grabbing our attention rather than writing a book. Get our attention and you get an interview.…

Why Is not Your Book Profitable? 10 Reasons

Why Is not Your Book Profitable? 10 Reasons

You spent a lot of time and energy on your book – your labor of love. You even had it professionally edited. But, often hidden reasons do not surface, or you are simply unaware of your actions and attitude that stop your book's success.

Here's 10 reasons why your book is not "Over-the-Top" successful.

1. You do not specifically define what you want your profits to do for you.

Does it mean taking a month's vacation each year, buying a home, paying your child's college tuition? Be sure you know what your money target is and what it will do for you before you chase it. It's all important to have a goal beyond just the money. Money is just the means to the real life goals.

2. You shotgun your promotion efforts and do not focus on one or two books.

So many times I hear collections adding another book, CD, or other product to their offerings. Just remember, you can only market one thing at a time well. Presenting too many products and making too many offers confuses your would-be buyer.

3. You set goals far too unreachable in the time allotted.

While it's great to set goals, make sure you will move forward to the finish line. Stretch, but define your goal in reasonable terms so you believe you can reach it. Like a huge weight loss in six months, it does not make sense to say, "I'll make a million dollars with this project." When you take a step and succeed at it, you'll feel confident you can keep succeeding. Remember after the goal, you have to "show up" and do the high-level activities.

4. You think your book project to death.

So many of us plan and plan, but do not act enough. Think about my favorite motto, "Get ready, Fire, Aim!" Once you start, you may make mistakes, but feedback from your peers will help you grow much faster than you would in a vacuum. For me, "check and correct" means to put it out now, then adjust what's needed to make the copy or offer much stronger. Often, the best way to kick start you is to copycat another successful person, then tweak to suit your specific talents and ideas.

5. You do not think your book project is urgent and must be finished now.

So many clients get discouraged because they want their book to be easy and fast. That's good, but to get to easy and fast, you need to learn what selling points make your book a winner inside as well as promotion campaigns that showcase your book's benefits and best parts. What may look like an obstacle can help you develop strength and skills. You must focus all your intention, your direction and your attention toward you goal. Always expect the best, but make no expectations.

6. Make your plan realistic.

So many times book coaching clients say they want their book finished yesterday. If you do want to …

Group Fitness Classes for Weight Loss

Group Fitness Classes for Weight Loss

Exercise should be about having fun moving your body in the way it was designed to move. It seems that exercise has become a negative word is today’s society. Too many times have I been lecturing to a group of students or adults and when I mention exercise they cringe. This should be exciting if I recall in grade school we couldn’t wait to go outside for recess it was our favorite part of the day. Now we work, work, work, go home and do more work, then sit down on the couch. We have taken the activity out of our day. Even in schools they are cutting back on physical education at a time when the country is at its worst in terms of disease and sickness related to sedentary lifestyles.

Group Exercise

Group exercise is a fantastic way to get together and have some grown up recess time. Make sure you do your research in your local newspaper, visit the parks and recreation website, or pop in at your local YMCA to get an idea of the classes and times they offer them. Make sure that you chose a class that meet two to three times a week. If you a beginner to fitness make sure the class is not too advanced you can work your way up. The last thing you want to do is take a class that is very difficult and get discouraged. Show up a few minutes before class or hang back a few minutes after class and introduce yourself to the instructor, many times the instructors are also fitness trainers that can give you some great advice one on one.

Be Consistent

The key is to not quit, one way to help when you feel like you are falling off the wagon is to have friends to hold you accountable for your goals. Make friends in the class and make a pact to stay in touch with each other to make sure no one gets left behind. Sometimes things come up; family, work, and sickness happen but don’t use these things as repeated excuses. If you do happen to miss a class, make it your business to do a makeup day using another class or going out and doing some exercise on your own. If you are consistent with your exercise and workout program you will get the results.

Con: Monotony

Some group fitness classes like cycling and step aerobics can get a little monotonous doing the same exercises and motions day in and day out won’t challenge your body after a long time. You need variety in your workout program, mix it up a little bit. If the instructor in your class isn’t changing the routine enough try another class or move onto something with more difficulty. At some point you may experience a plateau with your weight loss it may be that your workout program has gone stale. Get help from one of the personal trainers or switch up your classes …

Leadership – What Does It Take? An Acronym to Share With Student Leaders (and School Colleagues)

Leadership – What Does It Take? An Acronym to Share With Student Leaders (and School Colleagues)

Acronyms are great ways to organize ideas you want students to learn – and to help them remember what you are teaching. If you work with student leaders – or potential student leaders, here is the acronym LEADERSHIP with key ideas of what leaders do.

Leaders are Learners

Knowledge is doubling every one and one half years. More important than knowing facts is knowing how to learn.

“Education is the process through which we discover that learning adds quality to our lives.” (William Glasser)

If you are going to be a leader, you have to be a learner

Leaders are Ethical

Leaders need to set a high moral standard.

Being ethical includes being honest, forthright, and truthful.

You’ll know you’re ethical if you are easily able to tell other people what you are doing.

Leaders are Available

As a student leader, you have to be available for your constituents–the people that you are representing. If you are unreachable and unavailable, you cannot stay in touch with the people you are supposed to be leading.

Leaders are Determined

It takes effort and determination to lead. It is A LOT easier to follow—-or to lag behind.

Leaders are Energetic

People often ask me if I take some sort of vitamin that gives me the level of energy that I have. While I do take vitamins and I do exercise to energize myself and get rid of some of the stress I experience on a never ending basis, I have to credit my energy level to the passion I feel for what I do and my sense of purpose and mission.

Nathaniel Branden, psychologist and author, offers the following steps to convert desires into purposes:

  • Ask yourself what actions you would need to take if your purpose were to achieve your goals in reality.
  • Design an action plan and begin to implement it.
  • Monitor your progress; pay attention to the outcomes of your actions. Adjust your plans and behavior when necessary.
  • Keep yourself on track, moving toward fulfillment. And watch yourself grow in personal power.

You will know if the people around you have lost their passion and purpose because you can observe one or more of the following: lethargy, lack of motivation, overall aches and pains, negativity, disappearing sense of direction, diminished patience with others, difficulty working on anything, general malaise, and thoughts of quitting.

You’ve got to get some pep in your step

You have to make sure that you are not dragging around…you must eat right, exercise, and get enough rest.

Leaders are Reliable

You must be someone whom people can count on. You are your word. If you tell people that you will do something, do it. Don’t overpromise, which may cause you to run out of time and then you have to renege on something you have promised.

One of the highest compliments that you can be paid is when people say, “I always know that I can count on you.”

Leaders are Sensible

Leaders use good judgement. …

Money is the Lifeblood of Your Business!

Money is the Lifeblood of Your Business!

A business without enough money is like a human being without blood or a jet plane without fuel. It is an essential resource your business needs in order to achieve its fullest potential.

You can have the best ideas, a bunch of talented people, a great product and a potential market. However, without proper money management, none of your goals can materialize.

I have seen entrepreneurs doing great work, attracting lots of customers and delivering great value. However, because there was nobody paying close attention to the numbers, the business soon found itself having to close down.

All this could have been avoided if only the business owner understood and paid more attention to managing the cash flow of the company.

So, if money is such an important matter in a business, why do so many entrepreneurs neglect to spend enough time on it? There are three main reasons:

1) Ignorant About Money Unfortunately, very few people are trained in money management. Unless you studied finance or accounting in college, it is unlikely that you would have learned about smart money management strategies from your parents or from school, college or university.

2) Fear of Money With ignorance comes a fear of dealing with money. Many business owners I talk to have a fear of constantly tracking their sales revenue, costs and other financial numbers.

They get stressed up when they have to look at and deal with numbers. They get nervous when they see the bills that come in and more stressed when the sales revenue is not as rosy as projected. “I was never good at Math,” is the common excuse they usually give.

3) Procrastination

Finally, many business owners I know tend to place their finance and accounting matters as the last priority. They are always focused on making the product, providing the service, dealing with customers, selling their company or managing their people. “I have no time to do the books.” “I’ll do it later!”

As a result, their accounts are never up to date. They will only know their May sales, cost and profit figures in September! It is like a basketball team playing a match without being able to see the scoreboard until two weeks after the game!…

How to Become a Fashion Designer

How to Become a Fashion Designer

Is Fashion Your Passion? If you've always dreamed of becoming a successful designer, read on to learn more about how you can realize your dream and become a fashion designer.

The three most fundamental skills required to become a fashion designer are: sewing, drawing, and creativity. You can always learn both drawing and sewing in fashion school (actually, those are typically mandatory classes), but creativity is something you must have in your blood.

Beside the skills listed above, you need the following skills to become successful no matter what your career path is: motivation, determination, and commitment.

If you are serious about becoming a fashion designer, the first and most important step you'll need to take is to enroll in a good fashion design program at an accredited institute. The advantage of going to school is that you'll be taught everything you need to know in a well structured, organized environment. You'll learn the industry standards, how to accomplish required tasks efficiently, get hands on experience with the latest industry technology, and learn exactly what needs to be done to break into the fashion world and how to go about doing it well. Additional benefits include potential internships with well known companies and excellent networking opportunities.

If you're sure you want a career in fashion but are not certain as to which path is right for you, here are a few options to get you thinking: fashion design, accessory design, apparel design, fashion merchandising, fashion marketing and fashion Journalism.

As with any career, a solid plan and a good education are essential. This might be even truer in fashion design, as it is definitely not an easy industry to break into. That should not discourage you however, and if you are discouraged that easily then this probably is not the right career for you. But with hard work, dedication, and a little bit of luck, there's no stopping you from becoming the next Coco Channel or Calvin Klein.

A good first step is to pick a few good fashion schools and get some information from them regarding their programs. This can all be done quite easily now as most schools now have short "information package request" forms right on their websites. They're usually pretty short forms, you fill them out and they mail you an information package which outlines their programs in details. It's definitely worth looking into if you really are serious about getting into the fashion industry. …
